Participating in the auction is easy and simple!
1. Register as a user
All participants in the auction must register as users. Registration is quick and only takes a couple of minutes. Start by registering in My Account page.
Only registered users can participate in the auction. When registering, the user must provide correct personal and contact information.
Other users will not see usernames etc. in the auction history on the page, only the bids that have been submitted.
2. Submission of bids and the conduct of the auction
You can bid on the item of your choice by clicking on the item’s own page. On the page you can see the starting price of the item and how much the item is currently offered.
You can increase the offer by the minimum increment which is 20 euros by pressing “Bid” button. If you want to bid more than the minimum raise, you can enter a bid of your choice with the number keys and then press “Bid”.
If another user makes a higher bid than your own, you’ll be notified by email. In this case, you can log in to the service to increase your offer. Be sure to track the progress of the auction to ensure yourself a winning bid!
Please note that all bids are binding! Shouting without intent to buy is contrary to the rules of the auction.
At the end of the auction, there is still a chance for a last-minute spurt of bids. If a bid is made for the item during the last two minutes before the auction closes, the auction time will be extended by two minutes from the last bid. The auction continues until no new bids have been submitted within two minutes.
3. Winning bid
The winner of the auction is the user with the highest bid at the end of the auction. Winners will receive an email about the end of the auction and their winning bid.
At the end of the auction, the winner must pay their purchases plus the shipping costs. Payments are accepted with online banking or by credit card. Items are possible to collect as agreed, in which case no shipping costs will be charged.

Blue Forest auction – winning bid
At the end of the auction, the winner is required to pay their purchases either with online banking or by credit card.
The preferred shipment of the items is pick-up from Helsinki, in which case no shipping costs are charged.
It is also possible to deliver the items via Matkahuolto or by another company providing transport services if the size of the item requires it to be sent as freight. If the items are sent to the buyer, the packaging and shipping costs will be borne by the buyer. After the end of the auction, we will contact the winners to arrange a pick-up or shipment for the items.
Items will be properly packaged upon shipment. The auctioneers are not responsible for any damage that may have occurred during transport.
